When it comes to wall art, I gravitate towards photography over painted pieces nine times out of ten. I love the raw human emotion found in photos and the idea of capturing a moment forever.

I also favor and adore oversized pieces. Whether a photo, a mirror, or a tapestry, playing up the scale gives any room (and especially a small one), a sense of grandeur and luxury.

And of course, the best way to select a piece of art is with your emotion: which photo touches a heartstring so strong you practically gasp? –Crystal

P.S. There are so many talented photographers out there, but if you’re looking for someone new, one of my personal favorites is Emily Johnston Anderson. Her work makes me gasp.

This page appears to get a good ammount of visitors. How do you advertise it? It offers a nice individual twist on things. I guess having something authentic or substantial to talk about is the most important thing.
